Spring 2011 Gardening Workshops

The NC Cooperative Extension in Lee County will host a Spring Gardening Workshop series featuring a variety of topics including: Pruning Shrubs; Growing Orchids w/Art Chadwick; Fireant Control in the Home Landscape; and Composting 101. 2011 Spring Litter Sweep

Lee County will be observing the ND Department of Transportation roadside cleanup April 16 - April 30, 2011.  Click here to view proclamation approved by the Commissioners at their March 21st meeting.  Citizens or groups interested in "adopting" a highway, road or street for cleanup should contact Joanna Peele, 910-944-7621 for more information.
