Agenda for 2-21-11 Commissioners Meeting

Property Tax Lien Advertisement

By statute the tax office must advertise a list of those taxpayers still owing 2010 real property taxes.  This advertisement will go into the Sanford Herald in March.  Notices have recently been sent to those affected taxpayers at their last or best address we have on record.

The tax office has upgraded its online bill inquiry system to Citizen Self-Serve.  This system allows one to review parcels and accounts for balances at his or her convenience, 24-hours a day.  You may also chat live with a tax office representative, request an account balance through email or call the tax office at 919-718-4662.

Lee County Board of Commissioners Planning Retreat

The Lee County Board of Commissioners will meet on February 11, 2011 for their annual Planning Retreat.  The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. and be held in the Gordon Wicker Conference Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford. Click here to view agenda for said meeting.
